
NOW HIRING FULL TIME SEASONAL BAKER

With the new expansion of our bakery into a dedicated 1700 square foot space just off the QE2, we are looking for an experienced baker to join our crew. This new location is on 12 acres of green space (complete with walking trails and a park), and features large windows that let in tons of natural sunlight. On top of that, it contains some of the kindest, funniest, supportive, and talented bakers you could ask for (biased, we know, but completely true!)
Our cozy crew is looking to add a wonderful human to our organization for the busy holiday season, as we ramp up our tourtière production. We don’t hire often (our average employee retention is over 1 year, with some members being with us for 8 years +), so this is a rare opportunity to see the inner workings of the Chartier & Mother by Chartier family.
Shifts:
4-5 days per week
October thru December
Flexible days & times - we can work around your schedule (as long as it’s after 12pm)
Must be over 18 years old
Must have reliable transportation to and from Nisku
Must be able to work well independently
The right candidate has:
A desire to work in a close knit team of passionate industry professional
Been described as a neat freak by their friends and family
The ability to prioritize like a triage nurse on a full moon
Is able to follow direction with precision
A severe disdain for raisins (because, ew)
This position is simply a starting point, and we’d look to transition the right candidate to a permanent position down the road if desired.
